It's all started with two innocent child falling in love with each other. They hide the romance for some time. Being happy and lovey for that crazy in love stage. Chatting for hours and sleepless night even though they have class to go the next day.
He and she knew each other since primary school. They went to the same high school and then the went apart. Both of them are the pain in the ass for their parents. They switched. Nope. They weren't dating that time.
Since then, they never seen each other. Until one day, a friend request from her Facebook popped up. That's him! She accepted his request but she was too heartbroken to even talk to him because she just broke up with and asshole. *oooppps*
That period of them he was just in the beginning of body building. He won't stop harassing her eye with his half naked photos.
Then she got really annoyed ๐ and she blocked him. That was the early stage of Facebook and end of MSN.
But two months later, she unblocked him. They started the crazy Skype. Everyday after school they talk until midnight. They are not official yet. Until her 22nd birthday. He asked her. She said yes.
Eventually they have to let their family know about each other's existence.
But that didn't really turn out well. He's studying abroad the only thing they maintained their relationship was through internet. He met her mother first, they've talked. But her mother thought he is too young and playful. Then she met her mother in an event without him by her side. His mother thought she kept on avoiding her.
That doesn't really matter though, they are in a long distance relationship that doesn't need to spend time with any side of family. All they do is FaceTime.
The more time spent together with his family, the more they get along. She spent nights at his place without him, she went shopping with his family without him. She went on vacation with his parents without him. She thought this is the meaning of happily ever after.
Happily Ever After = Get along well?
Still, her side of the family still not the biggest fan. *ahem*
He didn't get to spend time with them a lot because they are always not there. Also, her mother is not the sweet talker plus the bad impression, the comment she made was so harsh! She can't do anything but stop him to go to her house so she can kind of "protect" him.
And then they decided to get married.
And when you thought that's the end of the story…. you are half right. End of your princess life. Haha! *sorry*
But no, when you thought the happily ever after will remain, that's not completely right. The wedding planning is the time where everyone finally reveal their true color. Ha. Ha.
The most important role in a marriage is your other half.
Is he going to stand by you? Or is he going to stand by his family?
You know, there's a saying "When man get married, he has one more person added to his family. When women get married, she has to leave her original family to live with the (new) husband's family." —> though, this only applies to the couple who decided or forced to stay with the parents because they couldn't afford a place yet. Or they do it on their own will.
Becoming his wife, joining his family who she though she already knew, obstacles they are facing after updating their latest status in life. These are all brand new to her or both! The other half is the mediator, between the new and existing member. Is either the mediator did a good job or bad. You can tell obviously! Haha!
Finally wedding is over. Now they have to stay with his family. They thought it won't change a thing because you see, they get along well. Until the different lifestyle. Never know until you stay together under one roof hey!

To be honest, please tell me which in laws never have issue together? Which in laws always have been lovey dovey no comment at all?
The thing is, do you solve that or just let it be.
The in laws and both of them have different point of views on everything. Literally, their values are not at the same page. They don't share the same idea about having the wedding reception, building family, raising child and oh god! So many things that can't even list all of them down. But what can they do? So many times, he and she fought. To the extent of getting a divorce.
That was the toughest period of time. She cared about what people think of her and she cared about how bad her parents felt. Their wedding did not blessed by her parents. As if this isn't the worst thing ever. ๐ข
Why is she insist of marrying him though?
It's so cliche but you're damn right. It's because of love. ๐
She was the one who make the big move. He saw that. He promised to treat her up to her standard. ๐ Trying so hard still. She's quite demanding. To be honest, she's quite lucky. Because as a wife, she is spoilt by the husband, whatever a daughter in law was supposed to do, the husband take over. Without saying a thing. She always complain him for his bluntness.
You thought she's cute looking and all that. You never know how violent and vulgar she is. The username explained what she is.
According to him, her personality is weird. When she likes a person, she adores them, she could literally die for them and never doubt their intention. But when she hates someone, you can obviously see it from her face.
He has to cover up for her. She's really over protected by her family and him. That's why she never play pretend. Her quote is…

In the end of the day, he and she will have their own family. Their own circle. She literally nodding her head admitting she is not the good or even the borderline of good daughter in law. Seriously. #marriedclub can you sleep until you syok only wake up when everyone's home? Her own mother will flipped! Haha!
She knows, no matter how good or how bad the relationship is between in laws, the other half is the key.
Trust issue between husband and wife.
She's the high demanding wife and suspicious. Haha! Her childhood was surrounded by betrayal and unfaithful relationship. Seeing her biological father treated her mom badly, she's insecure and defensive. She hates man who has no respect for women.
He is popular among his friend. Always is. He has lots of buddies and girl buddies which makes her felt uncomfortable and he always too welcomed them. ๐ฃ
But anyways, they got things sorted out after she shouted. ๐
The thing about marriage, about being someone's wife and daughter in law is not something I don't like. It's just too new to me. I've always been the princess at home, getting whatever I want. All of the sudden, I have to bear with shit.
What I mean is, husband is doing great, and I am very grateful. He is a good mediator or at least he didn't let me feel sorry about my choice which my mom thinks is bad. ๐
